It is the half term break and the Five have an adventure planned already! They are going on a hike for a week. Julian has mapped out their route. Timmy hurts his leg during rabbit hunting. The slight change in their course leads Anne and Dick to a different farmhouse. There, Dick receives a cryptic message by a mysterious person. The next day, they find out that a convict has escaped from a nearby jail. Are these two incidents related?
